Nicole Nash Fatally Injured after Multi-Vehicle Accident in Abilene
ABILENE, TX (May 24, 2024) — One person identified as 58-year-old Nicole Nash died after a multi-vehicle crash on Saturday, May 18.
According to the Abilene Police, at around 12:15 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of South Danville Street after receiving reports of a collision involving three vehicles.
A press release said Nash drove a 2000 Honda Accord northbound. Then left the roadway on the onramp to Winter’s freeway.
Her Honda traveled through the grass area. Then it sideswiped a 2023 GMC Yukon. and the After that, the Honda continued north then struck an Audi.
The Honda came to rest on the east side of Danville.
There were no reports of other injuries in the incident.
Responding officers pronounced Nash dead at the scene. Her body will be sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
Authorities consider intoxication is not considered a factor. However, the investigation of the incident is still underway.
