71-Year-Old Jane Shwarz Identified in Fatal Crash on 35 Freeway at MLK Jr Boulevard in Waco
WACO, TX (May 24, 2024) – Officials identified 71-year-old Jane Shwarz who died in a multi-vehicle crash on 35 Freeway on May 15.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at MLK Jr Boulevard around 9:30 PM. Based on a report, the pile-up started after a 1999 Ford F-150 hit an outside retaining wall.
Subsequently, a Freightliner truck hit the Ford as it veered back into traffic. A 2015 Hyundai Sonata then hit the back of the truck.
It was not clear what vehicle Shwarz was in. Emergency crews confirmed she suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
