Joshua Larrin Dead, Nestor Arellano-Almazan Arrested after DUI Accident on Ken Pratt Boulevard and East County Line Road
LONGMONT, CO (May 22, 2024)— A man identified as 39-year-old Joshua Larrin, of Longmont, died in a DUI crash on Saturday, May 4.
According to Longmont Public Safety Department, the accident took place on Ken Pratt Boulevard near East County Line Road at around 12:46 a.m.
Longmont Public Safety officers said Larrin drove a stolen motorcycle on Ken Pratt Boulevard, just east of East County Line Road. Then a pickup truck turning onto Timm Way struck him. He died at the scene.
Authorities identified the pickup truck driver as 30-year-old Nestor Omar Arellano-Almazan. They arrested him on suspicion of DUI, vehicular homicide – under the influence, and failure to notify police of an accident. After that, they booked him into Weld County Jail.
Police said the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Longmont.
