Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 6 in Harris County

 
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (May 21, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a head-on crash in the 6700 block of Highway 6 on May 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at approximately 10:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a Dodge Charger northbound on the highway at a high rate of speed.
 
Subsequently, he crossed over into the southbound lanes. There, he struck an SUV head-on.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. His identity was not released, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported a woman in the SUV to the hospital in stable condition.
 
The crash also closed the southbound lanes of the highway.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
