Fatal Multi-Vehicle Goodyear Crash on 10 Freeway

 
GOODYEAR, AZ (May 7, 2024) — One person died in a multi-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway on Monday, April 29.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision took place on the 10 Freeway near Dysart Road. They said three vehicles were part of the collision.
 
Arizona DPS said one of the drivers went out to check for damage. Then the third vehicle struck him.
 
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
 
Officers advised motorists to expect delays on the freeway as they have shut down a portion of it for several hours. DPS reopened all closed areas just after 5:00 a.m.
 
At this time, details on what caused the crash are still under investigation.
