Bill Darling Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 69 in Lindale
LINDALE, TX (April 30, 2024) – The Lindale Police Department identified 60-year-old Bill Darling of Oregon who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 69 on April 19.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in front of a McDonald’s store around 8:15 PM. Based on a report, it was raining at the time of the accident.
Darling was walking across Highway 69 and was crossing traffic when a large truck struck him.
As a result, Darling sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
