Man Struck, Seriously Injured by Vehicle on East 22nd Street in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (October 19, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department confirmed that a man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on East 22nd Street on October 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South Alamo Avenue shortly before 6:30 PM. Based on a report, the male pedestrian was at the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him. It was not clear if he was at a crosswalk at that time.
 
Authorities said emergency crews transported the man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
