One Seriously Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on 10 Freeway in Tonopah

 
TONOPAH, AZ (October 19, 2023) – Officers with the Arizona Department of Transportation found several semi-trucks in an accident on 10 Freeway on October 12.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Salome Road. Based on a report one semi-truck initially rolled over at the intersection.
 
Subsequently, that rollover crash led to a second collision involving three to four semi-trucks. The accident damaged several semi-trucks, with one that jackknifed on the freeway. Crews added that an Amazon semi-truck sustained heavy damage to the hood.
 
As a result, one person has serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Several other people appear to have minor injuries.
 
Crews closed one eastbound lane of the freeway.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
