Christian Trattles, Ashley Peppers, and 3-Year-Old Boy Killed in Guthrie Car Crash
GUTHRIE, TX (October 11, 2023) — Three people, identified as Christian Trattles, Ashley Peppers, and a 3-year-old child, died in a car accident on Saturday, September 30.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at around 2:16 p.m. Trattles drove a 2014 Toyota Corolla west on US Highway 82 near mile marker 394.
The Toyota then went onto the shoulder of the roadway and its passenger-side tires traveled onto the grass. Trattles then steered the Toyota to the left, across the westbound lane. Then into the eastbound lane, where it collided with a 2021 Ford F-250 towing a trailer.
All three people in the Toyota died at the scene. Authorities identified them as 27-year-old Ashley Peppers, her 3-year-old boy, and her boyfriend 32-year-old Christian Trattles. All of them were Lubbock residents.
Officials also identified the Ford driver as 40-year-old Michael Dunn. Paramedics transported him to University Medical Center in Lubbock for treatment of moderate injuries.
