Single Car Involved in Fatal Accident on Highway 115 in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 6, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a teen died in a car accident on Highway 115 on October 2.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened near Barrett Road around 12:26 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle crashed and rolled over in the lanes.
 
The impact ejected the teen from the vehicle onto the roadway . The CSP said there were no other cars involved in the crash.
 
As a result, the teen suffered grave injuries in the incident. Officials only identified him as a 17-year-old boy from Canon City.
 
The vehicle’s teenage driver sustained minor injuries. Crews transported a 44-year-old man passenger to the hospital for treatment.
 
Officers did not suspect alcohol, drugs and excessive speed as factors.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
