Danica Maclin Identified in Fatal Flint Accident on Highway 155
FLINT, TX (October 4, 2023) – Officials identified 36-year-old Danica L. Maclin of Frankston who died in an accident on Highway 155 South on October 1.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at FM 2661 around 9:05 PM. Based on a report, Maclin was driving south on Highway 155 at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic in the other lane. She then hit a semi-truck, ejecting her from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
As a result, Maclin sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
The driver of the truck, 49-year-old Leonard G. Ireri of Houston was wearing his seatbelt and was not hurt.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
