Motorcyclist Cody Collins Identified in Fatal Tucson Motorcycle Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (October 3, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 37-year-old Cody Michael Collins who died in a motorcycle accident on Speedway Boulevard on September 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Dorado Boulevard. Based on a report, a Cadillac was trying to turn left from Dorado Boulevard onto eastbound Speedway Boulevard prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Collins hit the vehicle.
 
As a result, Collins suffered critical injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported to the hospital, where he died. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
 
Police determined the driver of the Cadillac was not impaired.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
