Janicia Molina Struck and Killed by Marena Falcon-De la Rosa in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (July 18, 2023) – Officials identified 30-year-old Janicia Molina who died in a pedestrian accident in the 5400 block of Pecan Brook Drive on July 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 11:15 PM. Based on a report, Molina was walking on the road prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, 27-year-old Marena Falcon-De la Rosa was driving her SUV on the same road. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle hit a boat trailer parked on the road and then hit Molina.
 
As a result, Molina sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Officers arrested Falcon-De la Rosa with intoxication manslaughter.
