Angela Selvage Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on 6th Avenue Frontage Road in Lakewood

 
LAKEWOOD, CO (June 19, 2023) – The Lakewood Police Department identified 49-year-old Angela Selvage who died in a hit-and-run on West 6th Avenue Frontage Road on May 28.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at Jay Street around 9:00 PM. Based on a report, Selvage was walking near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck her and left the scene. Additional reports also showed that another car hit the victim and the second driver stopped and tried to help her.
 
As a result, Selvage sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
A GoFundMe has been set up to help the victim’s family.
 
Police do not have a suspect or vehicle description. As of now, Metro Denver Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information.
