Motorcyclist Leonardo Cordova Identified in Fatal High-Speed Crash on Jones Boulevard in North Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 12, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified 58-year-old Leonardo Cordova of Las Vegas who died in a motorcycle crash on Jones Boulevard on June 10.
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Desert Inn Road. Based on a report, Cordova was driving his motorcycle on Jones at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
At the same time, a sedan had stopped at a red traffic light. Subsequently, the victim crashed into the sedan’s rear end.
As a result, Cordova suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
The sedan driver remained on the scene and did not show any sign of impairment.
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
