Primary Responsibilities

Product Proposition: The Product Officer’s job is to develop strong technological advancements and business-related product propositions that follow market trends to raise customer happiness.

Product Enhancement: Essential responsibilities include analysing and managing current products, finding chances for appropriate improvements, and strengthening the product range and customer retention.

Market research: Thorough market research is crucial for identifying trends that enhance the functionality of the current product line and operational procedures, resulting in higher profitability and revenue growth.

Project Support: This function entails helping the line manager with various product initiative-related duties, which supports overall business expansion.

Query Management: A crucial component of this function is effectively handling product-related enquiries from multiple departments and channels.

Understanding and Experience:

Knowledge and Skills: Candidates should know system knowledge, financial analysis, data analysis, and banking practices and procedures (particularly in retail banking).

Candidates should have a graduate degree and ideally 0 to 1 year of relevant experience, according to the experience profile.

Behavioural Competencies: The position calls for strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, analytical prowess, efficient coordination, and leadership qualities.
