Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is all set to inaugurate Knowledge Park 5 of Greater Noida today. The first-of-its-kind centre is built by the Hiranandani Group. During his 2 day tour, Yogi Adityanath will be inaugurating the centre. As per reports, he reached the city in the afternoon.
Noida latest project
The centre will be Noida’s first centre that will be opened alongside Union Minister for railways, communications, electronics, and information technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of state for electronics and information technology, Rajeev Chandrashekhar.
The construction of data centre was constructed by Yotta, a Mumbai-based subsidiary of the Hiranandani Group, started in 2021.
As per government authorities, the first data park in Noida will have six interconnected buildings with a capacity of 30,000 racks that can be operated with more than 250 MW of power. The data centre is built on 3 lac square feet with an estimated cost of ₹5,000 crores.
Additionally, talking about the inauguration, UP CM Yogi will also be inaugurating the Ganga Jal Project. On Tuesday, November 1 he will be attending the India Water Week programme. The India Water Week will be commenced by President Draupadi Murmu and will be welcomed by UP CM Yogi for the programme. It is worth mentioning that the Ganga Jal Project has missed deadlines in past years many times.
Societies near Greater Noida are all set to receive fresh water under this project by January 2021. The project was supposed to be completed by 2005 with a budget of ₹8000 crores and will ensure 85 cusecs of Ganga water supply to Greater Noida residents. In order to get 85 cusec Ganga water from Upper Ganga Canal at Dehra for Greater Noida, U.P. Irrigation Department started working on the lining of different canals/distributaries.
