Three vacancies for the post of Assistant Executive  Engineer (Electronics), Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships, Ministry of  Ports, Shipping & Waterways :UPSC Recruitment 2022




The vacancies are suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. 

Deaf and Hard of Hearing with disability i.e. 

Hard of Hearing (HH), Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L) (OA) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV), Multiple disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the sub-categories of the disabilities indicated above including deaf- blindness.

 The post is permanent. i.e PERMANENT UPSC JOB.

General Central Service Group- “A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Age: 35 years.

 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS UPSC 2022:

 (A) UPSC EDUCATIONAL :

(i) Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent* *IETE (Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) and Section A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) (All those students who are enrolled with the Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) 

(B) UPSC POST EXPERIENCE: 

Two years experience in supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation. DESIRABLE: Two years experience in generation, supply and transmission of power with experience in lighting small motors and wiring. 

NOTE: 

The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 

UPSC POST DUTIES: 

To assist in installation, improvement and maintenance of equipment's and other navigational aids. 

HQ: 

Noida (UP) Any Other Condition: Liable to serve anywhere in India along the Indian Coast including Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep Islands.
