1. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. - Psalm 119:105

2. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

3. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11 

4. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

5. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  - 2 Corinthians 12:9
