Experts Advice on Analytical Reasoning Section According to experts, “The questions from Analytical section will be easy and candidates will be able to attempt all the questions, with basic knowledge of the concepts”. Also, this is the most scoring section. Quantitative Ability ATMA Exam pattern for Quantitative Ability Section has not changed much over the years. The questions in this section are based on the Mathematics syllabus from classes X-XII.

Questions related to Inequalities, Permutation & Combinations, Quadratic Equations and Logarithm are usually clubbed in this section. The Quantitative Ability section contains 2 sub-sections, each carrying 30 marks. For a good attempt, one should not take more than 40- 45 minutes to solve these sub-sections.

Both topics cover around 25 marks, and therefore cannot be ignored for scoring well. According to experts, “Aspirants must focus on all the formulae and short cuts to save time. Also, questions would be easier to attempt with more practice and confidence.” Verbal Skills Questions in Verbal Skills test a candidate’s understanding of vocabulary, correct grammatical usage, familiarity with words, English language reading skills, and ability to write clearly and briefly. ATMA Exam pattern for Verbal Skills consists of 2 sub- sections of 30 questions each and the questions are from topics like Determiners, Verbs, Prepositions, and Articles, with only one question from Reading Comprehension Passage. Candidate must not take more than 25 minutes to attempt these sections with an accuracy of 95%.
