Food Hacks

Hey you guys and welcome back to my blog!  So for this post I wanted to share with you guys 4 of my favorite food hacks that are so simple and delicious.  Feel free to share, repost, or reblog if you think any of these hacks are cool.  Or even you have or haven’t tried any of these hacks definitely let me know. Have a good Wednesday you all and thanks again for reading this post!

1.) Adding Fiber

Adding a sprinkle or pinch of chia seeds is great way to add fiber into any meal. Whether its a smoothie, oatmeal, yogurt, salad, a bowl of cereal, or even your pancake mix you won’t even be able to tell the difference.

2.) Grilled Cheese Bags

Want a easier way to cook a grilled cheese sandwich in the toaster oven without having to deal with the mess?.  If so, then you should definitely get your hands on these non-stick reusable grilled cheese bags.  Not only can they be used multiple times, but they are also dishwasher safe too. You can find these bags on amazon.com, at Walmart, or any other store that sells kitchen supplies.

3.) Fluffy Scrambled Eggs

A great way to add some fluffiness to your eggs is to add a splash or two of milk into your egg mixture.  Once you try this, your Scrambled Eggs will never be the same again!

4.) Taco On The Go

Get a  bag of  “Fritos” corn chips and open them open.  Once opened, take a bowl and pour the chips into it.  After pouring the chips in the bowl, you then put the bag to the side. Next, you want to have all of the ingredients that you would normally put in a taco separated in bowls. For example: Your seasoned beef, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, avocado, or whatever else you would like to use.

Next you grab a spoon, and start dipping out your ingredients into the empty “Fritos” bag. Once you have all your ingredients in their, you close the bag at the top and shake it up for a minute.

After shaking, you then take a spoon or a fork and dig in!  Optional: Take some of the chips that you had set off to the side and either crumble them in the bag on leave the chips whole.  That way you will have a crunchy topping!
