On our fourth day on holiday, the weather picked up again. Although it still wasn’t super sunny, it was still warm and we decided we would take a Trip down to the beach to have a drink and explore some more. One thing we found that I do remember reading on other people’s blogs before arriving, was that there were so many little nooks and crannies where there were beautiful things hiding. I’m pretty sure we didn’t explore as much as there was to explore but the things we did find were amazing!

We then decided that we were going to go on a Boat Trip out to Paleokastritsa caves. This cost €10 each and was SO worth the money! It was so amazing to be able to see the island and the places surrounding us from such a different perspective. The boat trip lasted around 45 minutes and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The captain of the boat knew all about the local area too which meant we learned things we wouldn’t have ever known otherwise. 

After the boat trip, we headed towards one of the hotels on the seafront as we wanted to book a boat trip for the next day, we booked an all-day trip to Paxos and Parga, which we were super excited for! 

We headed back towards the apartments after that but since it wasn’t consistently sunny we decided to spend the day on the balcony catching sun rather than sitting by the pool. We had a pretty view from the balcony and it was quite a sun trap so we didn’t mind so much! 

In the evening we decided to go out for dinner a bit earlier to a pizzeria in the area. We were the only people in the restaurant as it was kind of out of the way and difficult to spot if you weren’t looking closely, however, the people who owned it were so lovely and the pizza was completely fresh and homemade. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I wish I had taken a photo of it but I totally forgot!!

After going for dinner we went for cocktails at the bar in the lobby of the beachfront hotel. I had my favourite, a Cosmopolitan. We then headed back to the apartment to sleep as we had to get up super early to catch the bus that would take us to the boat for our trip the next day!
