Last week I got back from my holiday in Corfu. After wanting to go to Greece for such a long time I finally got to go, and the only time I was able to go that was affordable was October, so we booked for October 20th for a week, as it was my half term from college.

We travelled late at night on the Friday, so we didn’t get to experience anything until we woke up on Saturday morning. 
When we got up we decided to take a walk down the hill from the apartments into the village to see what was going on. As it was the end of the season the area was super super quiet but the place was absolutely beautiful. I’ve honestly never seen anywhere so stunning in my life. The sea was so clear and Blue, and the scenery was incredible. Even though there wasn’t much to do, just sitting on the wall or in a cafe by the sea was amazing. 

After stopping for a drink, taking in the area and stopping at the supermarket for some bits and pieces, we decided to head back to the apartments and chill by the pool for the day. That day it was around 25ºc which turned out to be one of the hottest days of the week. It felt so good to just chill in the sun reading and soaking up the rays before getting ready and going for dinner near the beach.

I ended up having Spaghetti Bolognese in a little Italian restaurant that was attached to a local hotel and it was so good! After we had had dinner we just headed back to our apartment to have a drink and go to sleep.

I had such a cute first day enjoying the sun and chilling, it definitely made me excited for the days that were ahead of us!
