Hey Guys!
So since I’ve been on summer break, I’ve been watching A LOT of movies, both at home and at the cinema, so I thought it would be good to share some of my favourite movies I’ve seen recently with you all!
Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is first on my list because even after nearly two months, I am still OBSESSED with this movie. I saw it twice in the cinema but happily would have watched it way more times than that. I absolutely Loved how empowering it was and it felt so refreshing to watch a movie about a female superhero without it being sexualised and all about her looks or relationships – even if I am 100% IN LOVE with Gal Gadot! I highly recommend you see this movie if you haven’t already!
My Cousin Rachel
Despite this not really being the type of movie I would usually choose, I obviously had to see it because my fave Sam Claflin is in it, and I surprisingly really enjoyed it. Sam was incredible in it as always and so was the rest of the cast. Obviously, the movie is based on a super famous novel, so it already had a great story to build from, but I absolutely loved the story and the way it left it up to the viewer to decide the fate at the end. Again, I’d definitely recommend this movie and I quite enjoyed watching a movie outside of my comfort zone for once!
Spider-Man Homecoming
Before seeing this I was never really a fan of Spiderman, I had seen a couple of the old movies but never really been interested, however, I still really loved this movie. I thought Tom Holland did a really great job at taking over the role and I’m super excited to see him join the Avengers in Infinity War!
Girls Trip
I don’t have enough words to say about how much I adored this film. It’s most definitely one of the funniest films I have ever seen, the whole cinema was practically crying with laughter throughout the whole thing. My friend and I found it even more funny because we could not have related more to the characters in it. I loved this movie so much, I found it so uplifting, especially in a world where there is so much negativity, a movie like this is just the pick-me-up you need! I cannot recommend it enough!!
There are so many more movies I’ve been loving recently, I’d literally be here all day if I was to talk about them all, but I hope you enjoyed reading about a select few of my favourites!
