Welcome back, guys!

As it is now the Easter Holidays, I’m free for a whole two weeks, and the weather has been so lovely lately that it has called for some cute little day trips out in the UK. I live in Newcastle so I pretty much have the best of all worlds, the beach is 15 minutes away, the city centre is 15 minutes away, and the countryside is only 30 minutes to an hour away, so there really is no shortage of new places to Visit and discover. 

On Saturday, we decided to visit High Force waterfall. I had never been before but I remember studying this waterfall in Geography when I was at school and we were always supposed to be taken on a trip with our class, but it never ended up happening. So, as the weather was amazing, we decided to get in the car with the dog and head down to High Force. 

There isn’t really much to tell about what we did, it’s a waterfall, so it’s quite self-explanatory, but the scenery and the walkway was beautiful, so I thought I would share some of the many photos I took. 

SIDE NOTE: **I’m still getting used to the various settings on my DSLR, as I’m entirely self-taught with taking photos, so I hope they look okay!**

On our way home we also stopped off at Raby Castle to see all the deer. I was so upset as when we passed on the way to the falls, all the deer were right next to the fence where I could have got some really good close up photos of them, but we didn’t stop, and then when we stopped on the way back they had all moved further across the field and I could only get wide shots of them all. I’ll probably return soon though, so I won’t make the same mistake again.

All in all we had such a fun little day out in the sun. There really are some beautiful places near me and I feel lucky that I’m able to visit them.
