Car Auction Tips

At a car Auction vehicles are sold "as is" and they do not come with a warranty, so you should take advantage of opportunities to inspect the vehicles in the days leading up to the auction. First, check out all the cars in the auction that interest you, kick the tires and look under the hood (if you know a mechanic bring them along). Find out the vehicle identification (VIN) so you can run a title check and a carfax report to find out if the car up for auction has ever been stolen or in an accident. Then look up the blue book values of the cars you want to bid on so that you do not bid too high.
