#ChristmasTraditions

There is a total of four of us in my immediate Family.
Over the years we've had big Christmas' with extended family and friends and small ones with just the four of us and medium sized ones with family here in AZ.
But a few things that never change have become our "Garcia Fam" traditions.
I'm going to share a few of our family traditions and hope in return you guys will comment your own family traditions! I would love to hear everyone's different Christmas day stories.
I've already mentioned one of our family traditions in a previous post (here).
And that's going to Christmas play. I can't even remember when this one started, to be honest.
But it has become one of my favorite traditions.
But I think my favorite tradition that I will continue with our kids is one my dad started a long time ago. Every Christmas Eve we are allowed to open one present at midnight, but there is a catch. You can't choose it yourself and it's never a surprise what it is. He would buy my brother and I christmas pajamas that we would wear to sleep that night (and most likely never wear again). As the years went by and when I got a job I decided it was time for my parents to join in on the pajama fun. So I would buy them pajamas, too. Last year we even got Connor in on the fun!
Last year we gave the ugly sweater Christmas Eve thing a try, but we decided the Garcia Fam is more dress nicely and up on Christmas Eve.
I can't wait to add on Christmas traditions as the years go by. please comment yours!
XO,
Valerie Ann
