Carlos Tevez, the ex-Manchester United and Manchester City striker, has been hospitalized following chest pains in Buenos Aires.
The 40-year-old stayed overnight at a clinic in the San Isidro neighborhood and is set to have additional tests at another hospital nearby.
Independiente, the club he coaches in Argentina’s top division, reported that the initial findings were positive.
A statement on their X page, said: “Our coach, Carlos Tevez, went to the La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro with chest pain.
“They carried out the corresponding tests and they were satisfactory.
“Today he will continue with a series of tests scheduled in advance as part of a general check-up.”
