BOOK REVIEW–
The author has very beautifully penned down friendship, love and emotion from a very sensitive point of view. The author has portrayed Dev beautifully Dev such that he delivers a beautiful message – If you hold back on the emotions–if you don’t allow yourself to go all the way through them–you can never get to being detached, you’re too busy being afraid. You’re afraid of the pain, you’re afraid of the grief. You’re afraid of the vulnerability that loving entails. But by throwing yourself into these emotions, by allowing yourself to dive in, all the way, over your heard even, you experience them fully and completely.
The story also amalgamates the idea of friendship and relationship as it seems to me that the best relationships – the ones that last – are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is… suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.
I liked the characterisation of both Vaani and Carol keeping the backdrop as romance. And each time I felt for the characters’ that they were from two different worlds. Two entirely different people. But upon their coming together, they created- they found- their own path and together they had their own world and in their own world, they were the same. Everyone else outside of it- everyone else was over there. Away. And they together- they together were here. They were right here. They were the same.
A very sweet book to read and personally I feel Romance novels are birthday cake and life is often peanut butter and jelly. I think everyone should have lots of delicious romance novels lying around for those times when the peanut butter of life gets stuck to the roof of your mouth.

Overall the plot is like a film where every page moves like a slide, in front our eyes. Every page will make you to read the next.
