Qualification :: MBBS Degree.
AGE : The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years. The minimum and maximum age shall be reckoned as on 01-07-2016 with the following relaxations to the maximum age limit, upto a max. of 45 years, as per rules :-
i. For SCs, STs & BCs 5 (five) years.
ii. For Ex-Servicemen 3 (three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
1. For the post of Civil Assistant Surgeon, out of a total of 100 marks, 90 marks shall be allotted against the marks obtained in the qualifying examination i.e. Final MBBS (Part-I and Part-II) and 10 marks against waiting period @ 1 mark for each year of waiting after completing MBBS course i.e. after completion of Internship, subject to a maximum of 10 marks.
2. For the post of Staff Nurse, Pharmacist Gr.II and Lab-Technician Gr.II, out of 100 marks, 45 marks will be allotted against the marks obtained in the academic qualification, 45 marks will be allotted against the marks obtained in the technical qualification and 10 marks for weightage from the date of passing technical qualification @ 1 mark per year of waiting after completion of technical qualification, subject to a maximum of 10 marks.
3. Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained with above criteria and displayed in the website www.kurnool.ap.gov.in for transparency.
