Oh How The Years Fly By

Good day everyone, thanks for stopping by. I know I haven't written on this blog in quite a while but life was busy happening. I know what you're thinking, "Ugh, is this going to be another one of your long posts?" Well, I hope not. However, I'd pour myself another cup of coffee just in case.

Can you believe today is the eleven year anniversary of the release of The Adventures of Baby Jaimie? I had hoped to release the eighth Book in that series this year, but unfortunately, there was a timing issue with my July release. If you follow me on Facebook, you know my latest release,
The Lil Defenders: The Return of the Yellow Menace took a lot longer to release than the May release date due to technical difficulties that have since been remedied. The Adventures of Baby Jaimie: Trick or Treat Smell my Feet is now slated for release in late September/early October of 2018.

Due out sometime in January of the upcoming year is the first in a series a history related books for children. Illustrations are currently in production for The Love of the Irish: Why We Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in America. Once they are finished I will be announcing an official release date on Facebook, if you are not already a follower, please consider following https://www.facebook.com/authorjaimiehope/.

While you wait for release details why not check out the full cover.

The back reads:

Ashlyn and Brendan's mother wake them up early on Saturday, and they aren't happy, even after their mother explains it's St. Patrick's Day and they have a full day planned, including a parade and a feast.

When their complaining continues at breakfast their grandfather realizes the children don't know about their heritage, so he decides to use the day to teach them. He begins by explaining what St. Patrick did and continued the explanation at each of their stops throughout the day.

I have yet to decide what the second history related children's book will be but I am taking suggestions. If you'd like to make a suggestion or comment on the cover, please do not hesitate to drop me a line here, on Facebook or at [email protected].

Note to my readers in the United States: Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Til next time, happy reading!
