King of Pop Michael Jackson came to India as part of his HIStory World Tour. The tour included a total of 82 concerts and was attended by approximately 4.5 million fans, beating his previous Bad Tour with 4.4 million. The tour was the largest concert tour ever by a solo artist in terms of attendance at the time grossing a total of over $238 million (excluding free concerts) The HIStory World Tour spanned the globe with stops in 58 cities, 35 countries on 5 continents. Mumbai is one among the 58 cities. The concert in Mumbai was at Andheri Sports Complex, 1 NOV,1996. 60,000 tickets sold for that concert. King of Pop commented about his show later:
“This has been the best show of the HIStory Tour”
But unfortunately for the fans of India no High Definition photos of him performing is available over the net. Only a snapshot of a news paper report. the entire show was captured by Michael Jackson's crew. But it belongs to the Estate of Michael Jackson. No hope that one day they will release the entire show for Indian fans. maybe one day!
So I decided to make a picture of Michael Jackson performing in Mumbai. With my very little knowledge in Photoshop I edited some HIStory Tour picture and the result you can see below. If you have similar images please share it with fans.
