3 Oh-so-Sweet Recipes You Must Have on Your Party Table . . . ASAP!

Having a party soon? Here are three awesome recipes you need to have sitting on your Party Table asap!
1. Easy Sugar Cookies |

What you'll be needing:
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened 
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
  4. 2. Quick Whoopie Pies |
  5. 1/2 an 8-ounce package of cream cheese
  6. 1/4 cup butter, softened
  7. 1/2 of a 7-ounce jar of marshmallow creme
  8. 12 of your favorite cookies ever!

    1. For filling, in a medium mixing bowl beat cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until smooth and fluffy. Fold in marshmallow creme.
    2. Spread filling on bottoms of half of the cookies. Top with the remaining cookies, bottom sides down. For firmer filling, wrap and chill about 2 hours before serving.
    3. Chocolate Mousse |
  10. 4 large egg yolks
  11. 4 tablespoons of sugar
  12. 2 cups of heavy cream
  13. 8 ounces of bittersweet chocolate
  14. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together egg yolks, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 3/4 cup heavy cream. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until mixture coats back of spoon, 3 to 4 minutes (do not boil). Remove from heat; whisk in melted chocolate and vanilla. Strain into a bowl; chill until cool.
    2. With an electric mixer, beat remaining 1 1/4 cups heavy cream with remaining 2 tablespoons sugar until stiff peaks form. Stir 1/3 of whipped cream into cooled custard mixture, then gently fold in the rest with a rubber spatula.
    3. Spoon into serving dishes; chill, covered, at least 30 minutes and up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.
