The North- East part of India since independence have been left untouched. The mainland of the nation is unaware of the beauty that flows in the air of the ‘Seven Sisters’. Since there is a lack of connection, the people of North- East also miss on the happenings in the mainland and majorly suffer the delay in development. As a result, the people of the North- East suffers unemployment or underemployment.

Also, lack of work and education forced the youngsters into unethical activities such as terrorism, bulling. Moreover, the ‘Seven Sisters’ had faced the issues of the insurgency which is again because of lack of connectivity. But now no such issues will be faced by these eastern states of the nation as the main centre ‘Delhi’ is now directly connects with the north- eastern states via train. On Sunday, the railway minister Suresh Prabhu had shown a flag to the train that will run between Delhi and Agartala.

This is not only a day of celebration in India but for Bangladesh as well. This is because Bangladesh provides a bridge through its land to India to connect New Delhi to Agartala. This railway track is not just connecting the two portions of the India. But also brings the two neighbours together that will resolve the issues of terrorism and insurgency that has been troubling both the nations for long.

Besides, it a great news to the citizens of India as trading is now is lot easier. In fact, tourism can now flourish in the land of the ‘Seven Sisters’. The Prime Minister of India had done an impressive job to bring the nation together as one Identity and one nation. Also, this track will eliminate the chance of youth pooling into unethical activities and can now have better access to education.
