Naran and Kaghan Valley:

Kaghan is a jewel among the many beautiful valleys in the Mansehra District of Hazara in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. This 160 kilometer long Valley is most popular summer holiday spots for both Pakistanis as well as foreigners.

The valley features pine forests, alpine meadows, crystal clear lakes and cool mountain streams. Kunhar River, the main feature of the valley, is famous for its trout. Nestled along the banks of the river are the towns of Balakot, Paras, Mahandari, Kaghan and Naran. The local people are friendly and simple.While going to Kaghan you will find them camped along the road in their traditional tents or moving up and down the valley with their herds of pack animals, sheep and goats.
Malika Parbat Peak, Kaghan. Malika Parbat (Queen of the mountains) elevation 17,356 ft (5,290 metres) is the highest peak in Kaghan Valley, KPK. It is about six km south of Lake Saiful Muluk near Ansoo Lake.

Saif-ul Malook LakeLake Saif-ul-Malook is located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley near Naran. It is in the north east of Mansehra District, KPK province. Located at an altitude of 10,578 feet(3,224 metres), it is amongst one of the highest lakes in Pakistan.

Aansoo Lake, Kaghan Valley Ansoo Lake is at 13927 feet (4245 metres) in the Kaghan Valley and is counted as one amongst the most beautiful lakes of the world. It is situated in the Mansehra District of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It is near Malika Parbat in the Himalayan range.
