Rockingham Dog Beach

Yesterday I wanted to take my dog to the beach and Rockingham foreshore is the default place to go to soak up the sun, but unfortunately it was dog on leash at all times and Macey was not happy. But if you carry on down the road towards Kwinana beach there is a dog beach and it is beautiful! There was loads of rocks and we went on a little adventure. I was really happy to see that there was no poop left from other dogs that their owners haven't picked up, usually when we go to a dog beach I walk along and pick up like 20 poops people don't you know it is really disgusting and dangerous. For example if your dog is on medication and my dog decide's to have taste of your dog's duty, she could get sick or even worse have a really bad reaction which I do not want for her or other dogs. Even though there wasn't any poop there was still so much litter, to the point it looked like a dump but it was behind the rocks so it's obviously been washed in from other places by the sea. Although to know that there are animals having to swim around with all of this rubbish its nasty! I cant even stand a messy room ! There was loads of discarded nets and things too which was quite worrying. I would honestly love a day to just help clear that space and make it as beautiful as it should be, might gather a few friends and make a day out of it.

So heres a little snippet of our little adventure today, unfortunately i can't upload videos so heres Macey's little photoshoot:
After we were done we climbed all the way back and make our way to the car, I think because of the season being winter there was no one there so I had no problem getting Macey to go, she hates leaving when there is other dogs still playing. When I got to the top I looked around for a water bowl because I didn't bring my foldable travel bowl but there wasn't one. So I drove back to Rockingham beach at like 10 km/h because I was trying to eye out a bowl, there wasn't any. So I parked up to see if any of the fountains had a bowl at the bottom but no >.
In conclusion if you guys want a fun adventure for you and your dog I defiantly recommend climbing on the rocks down at the dog beach, really good exercise and your dog will love it! Especially if theres other fur babies to play with.
See you soon.
