Happiness is a positive state of mind or a emotional feeling which is pleasant. Happiness is around us as well as within us. Rich and poor are in pursuit of happiness, Young and the old are in pursuit of happiness, Intellectuals and the weak are also in pursuit of happiness. Happiness exist for a certain period of time eventually returning back to normal. The pursuit of happiness is continuous. We seek happiness every passing day, every passing minute and every passing second.
Laughter Brings Happiness, helping brings happiness, games brings happiness, art, music dance, jokes etc.. etc.. brings in happiness. The real happiness lies within. In the modern age there is shortage of laughter as we are struck in our air conditioned cabins for the whole day. At the end of the day we are socially inactive, we meet friends and relatives rarely and live muted. Emotions are suppressed while we try to learn happiness by attending wellness classes. This is a cry of the empty souls in pursuit of happiness presented in my own verses.
PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
In pursuit of happiness I immerse,
Searching for it in the distant world,
Seeking it from within, happiness,
Happiness peaks within young souls,
Climbing a tree, riding a bicycle,
Catching a butterfly, playing games,
Where have they gone? Gone for a ride,
Lost in laptops and mobiles,
Hiding behind the linen robs,
Locked inside our climate controlled cabins,
Happiness went missing,
No where to be found, to my dismay!
Too busy to search ourselves,
Can you teach me to be happy?
Classrooms, webinars and seminars,
Only the back breaks sitting hours listening,
Leaving empty pockets, Happiness
Gone for a ride, Happiness,
Desires leads to sufferings,
I left behind the desire of being happy,
At the least suffering is avoided,
In pursuit of happiness I immerse,
Searching for it in the distant world,
Seeking it from within, happiness,
Did you relate this to yourself, make time to find happiness first, work can wait. Reinvent yourself and find joy in every thing you do in life.
