New Jeddah Water front Promenade(corniche..)- Part 1

With Pleasant weathers returning to Jeddah ,with temperatures between 23 to 30 degrees is a perfect day for outdoor activity. Its double Damaka in Jeddah, perfect weather condition and Jeddah's new waterfront.
Myself along with my family members have been to the water front a week ago and it doesn't fail to amaze us and other visitors. Jeddah's waterfront is on top of the places to visit for all Jeddah residence and visitors to Jeddah. It was really a great and fun filled experience for the entire family. The main attractions  of the new water front are Prince Faisal Bin Fahad walk way, The promenade, Fountains, Walking& cycling track, the 3D sign board "Jeddah" and of course the Red Sea
Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Walk Way:
Prince Faisal Bin Fahad walk way is a pedestrian walk over bridge to cross Corniche  road on to the Jeddah waterfront from Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Road. Its a spectacular experience having a leisure walk over the bridge watching the fire ball disappearing in Red Sea(sunset).

Midway of Prince Faisal Bin Fahad walk way is Al-Nawraz park which has a cool & classic fountain and a marble chess board. Kids loved playing in the marble chess board. I remember there was big round-about earlier which has been developed with the fountain and marble chess board.

The Promenade:
The Promenade is a main waterfront again with fountains, coconut and palm trees planted all the way, plenty of stone benches to sit an relax and plenty of space for the kids to play. You can get a great view of red sea waves hitting the walls. The sounds of the waves are pretty soothing and relaxing.

Coconut trees all the way and LED lights lit up the place after sunset
Walking & cycling track
It a great idea to develop walking and cycling track in the median of the road. One can engage in walking, cycling and skating with out disturbing anyone in the promenade. The walking and  cycling track is well guarded with crash barriers and line of palm tree.

3D Sign Board:
This again is one of the main attraction. You can see lot of crowd around this sign board "Jeddah" taking photographs. It's a jaw dropping experience watching the sign board with lights on.

The waterfront is one of the best place of interest in Jeddah. Me and my family enjoyed a lot and would frequently visit this place in the coming days to explore more about the New Jeddah's Waterfront
On the way back from the water front, you can find a curved LED screen commissioned in Star Avenue mall, which is claimed to be the biggest Curved screen in ASIA(not verified). The huge curved screen is a pleasure to watch.

Location:
Its located in the intersection of Hera street with Corniche road. Move 'n' Pick resort, Hilton and Sheraton hotels are in the same area vicinity
Best time to visit:
The best time to visit is between 4PM to 7PM where your get a good glimpse of landscaping, the Red sea, witness the glorious sunset and the "Jeddah" when its lit up.
Facilities:
Its a bit hard to get parking around this area, you may spend atleast 30min to find a parking. Early birds get a closer parking. There are a lot of stone benches  equipped with USB chargers to charge mobiles and tablets. No worries of mobile/tablet battery draining off. Well maintained toilets for Men and Women are located every 50meters.
Don't forget to bring your own water bottles and snacks as still eateries or restaurant's has not been established.
New Jeddah Waterfront is on the finest cornice I have ever visited. Do visit the cornice and give your feedback.
