Heroes of the Universe

Tags: heroes hero

Hero is a one (typically man, but not confined to only man. I see it as a generic term)who is admired for his courage, outstanding achievement and noble qualities. India has seen many female National Heroes like Jhansi Rani, Sarojini Naidu, Mother Teresa.

Like good and evil, success and failure, victory and defeat, hero or heroism is also a comparative term( Hero and villain). Comparative terms cannot be judged well, without a context, as the bench mark keeps changing from time to time.
Heroes are Heroes, as they are always on the side of good and fight against the evil, protect their fellow human beings irrespective of the context and situation.
Father is a hero for his children, Teachers are heroes for their students, Champions are heroes for Sportsmen, Ministers are heroes for their party members.

Can Everyone be a Hero? Everyone is a hero in one way or other being a Father, Teacher, Ruler, Champion in their own role and circle. Certain qualities distinguish a Hero from common man

Heroes have Courage : In our daily life we come across many of those who break the law, who commit crime and have atrocious behavior. We ignore them and move on, as we might end-up in a mayhem. Heroes(He/She)  have the courage to fight against atrocities and crime. In our society there are many NGO's and individuals who fight against atrocities and harassment of women, child labour, human trafficking etc..
Heroes Stand-up for others: Heroes value society and its well being. Heroes stand up for the un-known, deprived and the poor.  Heroes don't need an army behind them. They are themselves more than an army. In several parts of India, such Men/Women who stood up for their villages, tribes etc.. etc.. are regarded as Gods/Goddess who are still believed to be protecting the Villages/Cities/Towns.
Heroes are leaders: There was a jungle  road which was so thorny and it was very difficult for the villager to go through the road. Many villagers were passing through the road cursing the nature and no one even thought of removing the thorns. One day a stranger was passing through the road ... He saw the thorns on the road and started removing the thorns one by one. Once the villager saw the stranger removing the thorns, they felt shameful and joined the stranger to remove the thorns. Heroes are better leaders. They don't preach, they lead by example.
Heroes have ambition: True heroes have clear ambition. They don't have random path. They always have pre-defined path and strive with all their heart and soul to reach their ambition. Mother Theresa who recently attained sainthood was a true hero with the clear vision of helping the poor and needy.

Heroes are everywhere and a hero is hiding within each person. Everyone can be a hero in day today life with courage, standing up for others, good deeds, leadership and ambition.

We all celebrate Super heroes, War heroes, Fantasy heroes, Filmy heroes, Sports heroes, National heroes and so on... It's time for everyone of us to wake up the hero hiding with us.

Dedicated to all  Heroes who laid down their lives and made the world a better place to live.
