The fallout of the UK EU Referendum still rumbles on but on Friday morning I had the tenacity to blog about how I was feeling after The Result … wearing your heart on your sleeve can sometimes get you into cyberspace hot water.
How many times have I broken my Blogging rules? Too many and I only have three:
No commenting on
- POLITICS
- RELIGION
- SEX
On Friday I came out as a tearful Remain and posted UK VOTE TO TURN THEIR BACK ON THE EU. Giving my opinion and an opinion is all it was and why I felt so bereft on Friday having intently followed the results of the UK EU Referendum. How quite so many people suddenly found Lost Blogs on social media and so quickly was nothing short of scary.
For a couple of hours, until bigger fry started commenting, I felt like a pariah. Accused of flaunting political propaganda, inaccurately at that and there was me thinking the title, at least, was accurate.
So, no more blogs from me about:
Politics – I clearly do not understand anything about the subject, especially the UK EU Referendum, even though I stayed up to watch the drama unfold on TV.
Religion – Not clear about what I truly believe in. My spiritual jury is still out. Just wish we would all sing from the same hymn sheet.
Sex – We all do it, but does anybody really want to hear about it? Nah … will leave the titillation to EL Gray.
I have had my fill of Cyberspace Hot water. I will stick to what I know in future and wear my heart inside, where it functions best.
Does this mean I will finally become a Niche Blogger? Perhaps life is too short not to be niche after all ? It is certainly safer.
