Today we celebrated the 52nd Birthday of the most amazing woman I know, my mother!! My Sister flew in last night after I'd hung out with one of my closest friends, Beatrice. Yes, the girl who I lived with in Australia. It was really good to see her again and we had a lot to catch up on. After she drove home, my mum picked my sister, Ebba, up from the train station and the three of us ate dinner and watched TV. She met Noah and fell in love with him instantly, just like everyone else who meets my prince. Can you believe he is 10 days old? I feel like it was just yesterday I gave birth to him, but at the same time it feels like he's been in my life forever. Crazy! This morning, my sister and I and little Noah of course went in and woke my dear Mother up with presents as we sang Happy Birthday for her. Noah and I got her a cup that has "mormor" (grandmother) written on it. The day continued on nice and relaxing with good breakfast and an hour nap with my son. In the afternoon my grandparents came over with dinner. So instantly my grandfather took over the kitchen and made us all an amazing meal but since I still do not have my appetite back completely since the birth, I couldn't eat as much as the others. The cake afterwards though was amazingly good and I got a whole lot of that haha. They left shortly after dessert and I've been watching TV with my mother and sister since then. But now I'm exhausted so I am going to try to get my grumpy baby to fall asleep. I think he might have some stomach pains after all the sugar I've had today that goes straight to the breast milk haha. But hopefully we will both get at least some sleep tonight. But before we do that I would just like to wish my mum a happy birthday one last time. If I turn out to be half the mother to Noah that she has been to me, I'll be so proud of myself :)
