Scones, easy and quick

Is there anything better than the smell of fresh Buns in the morning? I honestly can’t think of anything. But who actually has the energy to get up early enough to make them for everyone? I always say I will, but with taking the time to let the dough yeast and so on, I just always choose to sleep in and then go buy buns instead once everyone is up. That was, of course, until I discovered this amazing recipe to make the most delicious and smooth scones. They are easy to make and because they are free from yeast, they don’t take longer than 15-20 minutes to make.

Ingredients

3.5 dL Flour

1 dl Oats

2 dL Yoghurt

50 g Salted butter

1 tsp Sugar

2 tsp Baking powder

Recipe

Heat your oven up to 200 degrees Celsius. In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. Chop the butter up into small cubes and add to the boil. Blend it all in together for a couple of minutes. Add the yogurt and keep blending until it’s all a big and nice dough. On a Baking Dish, divide the the dough into four equally sized buns and stab holes in them with a fork. Place the baking dish in the oven for about ten minutes until they’re finished.

Ready to eat with butter, marmalade or anything to your preference
