Mince, bacon and onion bonbons

It’s been a long time since I added a recipe to the blog. I love cooking, and I love sharing my ideas. Today we had mince, bacon and Onion bonbons with couscous for dinner. A meal that is extremely delicious and not too difficult to make.

Ingredients

Mince meat

Bacon

Onion

Parsley

Paprika powder

Garlic

Chili powder

Egg

BBQ sauce

Recipe

Turn your Oven on, on 200 degrees Celsius. Take off all the layers of an onion, and chop up what’s left. Add the chopped onion in a large bowl. Add the minced meat, egg, garlic, chili powder, paprika powder and parsley to the onion and blend it all together.

On an oven form, add the layers of onion and fill them up with the mince mix. Wrap the onion layers with bacon and hold them together with as many toothpicks as it takes. Place them in the oven for thirty minutes. Take out of oven, remove the toothpicks and glaze the bonbons with bbq sauce. Put them back in the oven for another five minutes. Take them out and serve with anything that goes. Today I had it with couscous, tomatoes and a Smokey paprika gravy and it was lovely!
