15 Mama questions

Good morning readers and big apologise that I have not updated the blog until now but I do have my reasons for that. First of all I am having issues with my computer that I Hope will be solved soon, and then my sister has been here visiting which was a lot of fun, it just felt like it went really fast so we didn't have enough time; but no fear, because in just a few weeks my friend will be coming, tickets are already booked and I am so excited for that! But more on that later. Today I thought that I would answer some questions about motherhood.

  1. At what age did you always imagine yourself becoming a mother at? 27-29 maybe
  2. How old were you actually when you became a mom? 21
  3. Was childbirth different than what you had imagined it to be? Yes and no, I knew it was going to be painful, but I didn't expect to go through so many different stages and emotions of childbirth, it felt like it never ended.
  4. What will you do differently next time your giving birth? I will know what to do now, and what I need to help me through it, so I'll come as prepared as can be.
  5. Where did you get the idea for your child's name from? From Ryan Gosling's character in the Notebook, Noah.
  6. What is the hardest thing about motherhood? I find it hard to keep my calm sometimes when Noah is being difficult, or pushes my buttons
  7. What is the most rewarding thing about motherhood? Watching the person you love unconditionally grow and develop in his own person, and being the most important person in the world to someone
  8. What is the weirdest thing your child has ever done? Oh man, he does weird things every single day. it is hard to choose just one. But he managed to pee on his own face when he was like a month old, no idea how he did that, but it was weird.
  9. What habit does your child have that you find difficult to handle? He throws tantrums when he just flips out and starts screaming. It seems like nothing works to calm him in those moments.
  10. What habit does your child have that makes you proud? He's extremely kind, and has nurturing side where he tries to take care of those who look sad
  11. In what way is your child a lot like you? He's weird and crazy just like me. We share the same sense of humor (yes I have a childish sense of humour), He's very kind and emotional just like I can be.
  12. In what way is your child nothing like you? His love for cars, his climbing talents, and that he scares easy.
  13. What do you hope for child in ten years? In ten years, I hope that Noah is just an average, healthy and happy 12 year old that goes to a good school, earns good grades and have good friends. Hopefully he'll be filled with talent and does other activities such as football, or plays the saxophone or something. And I hope that he will be a big brother by then, but that him and I are just as close then as we are today. I am totally gonna be a soccer mom at his school.
  14. Have you changed since becoming a mother? I think I'm just as childish as I always have been, but I am more responsible, and I have less patience for bullshit.
  15. Do you wish for more children in the future? Absolutely!
