Halloween and company

Yet another week is coming to an end, and what a week it has been. First of all, My mum has been here visiting for a week and a half, and she just left today. Second of all, We got to celebrate one of my favourite holidays: Halloween! I just love dressing up, spooking others and getting spooked. Horror movies and ghost stories, ahh, is there anything better? The festivities started already on Tuesday, a day before Halloween, where we went to a late night movie at the cinema with work to watch the new Halloween. I am a fan of the Michael Myer stories, and I really like the original Halloween movie, but this one was not the best. It was a cosy horror movie with exaggerations and obvious plot lines, but I can imagine it is a good way to give yourself a spook if you are not used to watching scary films. On Wednesday, the actual day of Halloween, Noah's school hosted a Halloween Party throughout the school day. So he dressed up as a skeleton and for once got excited to spend the day at his school. He was very pleased with how the day had been, as he was telling me all the costumes everyone wore, and that they had been served candy. When the sun set for the day, we ate some tacos, and then went trick or treating before kissing the day goodnight.

Yesterday, Friday, we had a halloween party at work, and our bosses had honestly made it so incredibly beautiful for us all. They had decorated the place beyond amazing, and made the most awesome looking foods. It was so cool how everyone went all in with their costumes too, and everyone really did look incredible. I loved it. Then in the evening, work took us to a restaurant/bar/club where we were served dinner and a whole lot of alcohol! I for one had so much fun, dancing around and talking to people. The night ended at some friends' house, before heading home just before two in the morning.
