One photo could hack your Apple device; Experts warning users to upgrade iPhones and Macs

It's like "The Ring" for your iPhone: you know just viewing one texted Photo would get it hacked.

Experts are requesting Apple users to manually update their operating systems (OS) after Apple issued a patch for new security exploit that could have the power to hack an Apple device with a single image.

The photo could be on a website or sent by e-mail or else an MMS ( Multimedia Messaging Service).
All the hackers want to your mobile number.

Security expert Cisco last week disclosed they had found several "remote code execution vulnerabilities in Apple OS X, related to processing image formats."

Whereas,hackers could theoretically hide their malicious code inside an image that has been sent to us.Specifically the risks were found in popular "TIFF" and "BMP" image file formats.

If your OS is earlier than 9.3.3 an iOS or earlier than 10.11.6 for OS X,it would be vulnerable.

To update on your iOS, jump to Settings>General>Software Update. Tap on "Download" and "Install". To update your laptop or desktop OS, click on the "Apple" menu and choose "Software Update".
