Winters are here and the pleasant winter season brings together some skin woes for all of us, right? One of the most common concern is dry and chapped lips. In my usual hunt for new things, I came across this new lip care product and I totally wanted to try it. I have been using it for quite some time now and then it was time for me to share my views about the product with you all.
So here are all the details about the new product, Oriflame’s The ONE lip spa care Lip Balm.
Oriflame’s spa care lip Balm is from the new range of products called ‘The ONE’. This lip balm is a subtle combination of a moisturising lip balm and a lipstick (just a little bit).
What it claims: Like a spa day out for lips! Ultra-conditioning double core lip balm with SPF 8 and a pretty hint of color. Moisturizes and protects for soft, supple, hydrated comfort that lasts.
Key ingredients: AquaCare Conditioning Complex, Canola Oil and Rose Hip Seed Oil (All these ingredients are very nourishing and moisturizing).
Packaging: The lip balm comes in a lipstick style tube of 1.7gm. It has double layers. The inner layer contains UV filters and emollients while the outer layer contains the moisturizing ingredients and some color.
Variants: The lip balm is available in 2 shades: transparent and natural pink. (I tried the one in natural pink).
Price: The lip balm costs INR 239 (Very reasonable).
My experience: I am a big time lip balm addict. I always like to try different lip balms and keep getting new ones often. This lip balm appealed to me because of its look, the double layers and the subtle hint of color available in it (I mean we always want our lips to be pretty and colorful right?). The ONE lip spa care lip balm is very smooth to apply. It glides on very smoothly and evenly. The lip balm really gives your lips a highly moisturized feel without being sticky or glossy. The moisturizing effect lasts for a few hours. You need to keep reapplying the lip balm every few hours (but I guess this happens with most of the lip balms). The lip balm also tends to even out your lip texture ad your lips feel soft ad smooth. My favorite part is the subtle hint of color it adds to the lips which looks very natural and pretty :) . Because of this, you can even skip the lipstick and just wear this lip balm and look pretty. I only wish the moisturizing effect would last for some more time and the lip balm had some more color variants (That would be really interesting).
So yes, I do like this product. Believe it or not but I use it everyday (and literally skip my lipstick).
