We girls can never have enough Lipsticks, right? We always keep trying and buying new ones in different shades, textures, etc. I am no exception in this matter. So yes, I recently tried some new liquid lipsticks from MATT LOOK Cosmetics and here’s all the details about these lipsticks for you all.

These liquid lipsticks are claimed to be matte, long-lasting with a 24 hour stay and can be removed only with a makeup remover.

Packaging: These lipsticks come in a sleek, plastic tube that has the lipstick on one end and Gloss on the other end. The tube is transparent which makes it easy to pick up the shade you want when you keep many lipsticks together and you don’t really have to open each one to see the shade. It is also very handy to carry in a bag.

Variants: These liquid lipsticks are available in 60 different shades. Now, that’s some really huge variety of shades I must say.

Price: These lipsticks retail for INR 195 for 4.5gm.

My take: I have been using these lipsticks for quite some time now on a regular basis and have tried wearing them at different occassions.

Firstly, I am really impressed with the shade range available for these lipsticks. Also, its a 2-in-1 lipstick wherein you get the pigmented liquid lipstick and the gloss together so that you can wear it as a matte lipstick or top it off with the gloss to give it a glossy look. I have tried wearing these lipsticks in both the ways. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is really good and hence a small quantity is enough to get the desired coverage. The lipstick takes about 4-5 minutes to dry completely and gives a matte finish. If you want to apply the gloss, you need to wait for the lipstick to dry and then apply the gloss coat to avoid mixing up of the color with the gloss. The lipstick looks good with the gloss as well since it gives it a velvety finish. Now, it was practically not possible for me to test if the lipstick stays for 24 hours. But then I tried my best to wear it for the longest time I could. Generally, the lipstick without the gloss stays for a really long time. It doens’t come off, fade or smudge even if you eat, drink, etc. However, with the gloss, the lipstick stays for around 3-4 hours and it does come off if you eat, drink. But then I guess that’s generally how glossy lipsticks are.

When it comes to taking off these lipsticks, yes, you do need to use a makeup remover to get these off. They don’t come off easily otherwise.

And last but not the least, these lipsticks are very pocket-friendly. Looking at the quality, pigmentation, staying power, etc; these are really very affordable.
