What is better? WordPress or Joomla? WordPress or Drupal? Drupal or Joomla? Or maybe any other CMS.
There are ample or Content Management Systems (CMS) we will find online and a new CMS is being launched every month, if not every week but what is it that we should choose. I don’t know about many others very much but I have used three most popular CMSes and can speak about only those that I have used – Drupal, Joomla and WordPress.

Firstly, I know no codes. Coding is something I want to learn in near future, will give me more power but at this point, I am not even at learner or beginner level. yet I want to have a website of my own where I can post my opinions and my knowledge can be shared.
I searched online and figured WordPress was most popular and gave it a go. It was smooth experience but then few sites were using Joomla so I tested Joomla and Drupal later on. I had to get back toWordPress for several reasons.

I realized that Google loves sites made on WordPress. Possibly the codes used by WordPress are being loved by Google search bots and spiders. Besides that, you have tens of thousands of Plugins for same function and variety of plugins and tools to customize the website. When it comes to Joomla and Drupal, there are not as many plugins available and many times you need to work on codes of the website. I am sure I would screw my site if I touch the codes.

If you are good at codes, I highly suggest Drupal since it is more powerful, you can create highly professional websites using Drupal. Joomla will be something intermediary thing for someone who knows codes but not expert at it and want to have more powerful website than having just a blog.

I have seen many websites created on WordPress and many are professional sites. Many websites have their blogs hosted on WordPress but in the end, WordPress is blogging thing and that is why it is so popular. Even a novice can create it and want a blog than havign a professional website. I have nothing professional to say or do but just want to share my knowledge, I chose WordPress. If I want to have a website for my business, I may will go for Drupal or may hire some experts to design website for me using some framework like java or dotNet technology.

I like WordPress the most since it gives you flexibility without knowledge of codes and if you have learnt coding, you probably want to help people on that. You may Develop Plugins and let users use freely or charge for it. You can work to develop plugins for some other company or individual and can earn because developing plugins on for wordpress wouldn’t be too much difficult than Joomla or Drupal but you get to earn huge if you develop plugins for later both.

Conclusion
If you don’t know the codes, get on WordPress. There are few awesome plugins that will take care of SEO as well but if you are expert on codes, you can do it even better. Please let me know if you need further help or information, Happy to Help!
