You love going to work. you like to meet people. You wish to do something with your life. You want to try pottery. But before all this, you need to wake up. This is the ‘Oh sh-t’ moment. This is a daily occurrence; a ritual experienced and rigorously followed by every human on Earth. It a neuroscience thing! But seriously – for once in my life, I would like to meet people who jump out from their bed and kick start the day.

1. Setting up a minimum of atleast three alarms because you don’t believe in yourself or maybe you love sleeping like nothing else. The second one

2. You hate morning people

3. You definitely hate the sun; you’re suddenly a vampire

4. You hate your neighboring aunty who is either reciting suprabatham or listening to 9XM in the early morning of the night

5. You get so much annoyed with people who get up every morning like clockwork that you decide to migrate to Norway, the land of midnight sun

6. Lying becomes a habit. Telling your friends you’re on your way while still in bed becomes too mainstream. Even your mates can catch your drift

7. The wake-up part is not so simple; it’s a gradual process. It requires waking your inner self, your brain, your eyes and everything else.

8. Sometimes you decide to squeeze in your bathing time and ultimately sacrifice it for a precious 15 minutes.

9. Waking up before the alarm and feel happy that you still have time to sleep. But the thing is you deliberately calculate in milliseconds. 300000ms =5 minutes!

10. That dream between the second and third alarm will be the most dreadful part of entire life
